You, Me & Food Allergies was set up to educate and empower children with food allergies, and support their families and schools. We believe that every child has the right to be safe and included, and provide educational materials and resources to make that happen.
Both our informative books have been clincially reviewed and endorsed by Allergy UK and we also provide free printables to help spread allergy awarness.

Emma Amoscato – Author and allergy advocate
Emma Amoscato is a journalist and mother of two children with multiple food and envirnomental allergies. When her son had an anaphylactic reaction, she started writing about her experiences but couldn’t find a practical and detailed book, so she decided to write it.
After successfully launching Living With Allergies and raising awareness, Emma realised there was no non-fiction book explaining food allergies to children, so she set about creating it.
Emma is studying a masters in the pscyhology and neuroscience of mental health at King’s College London so she can further support people struggling with anxiety about allergies and more. She is passionate about helping families with food allergies feel safe and included.
Midge Peacock – Allergy education consultant
Midge qualified as a primary school teacher in 2006, after running educational programmes at an aquarium with her degree in Zoology and Marine Zoology.
She has worked across early years and Key Stage 1, most recently running a preschool for the past 5 years. She is very experienced in writing detailed policies, risk assessments and managing allergies across multiple settings, and has designed our allergy mangement plan and risk assessment.
Midge has multiple food and environmental allergies, oral allergy syndrome and asthma. She also has three daughters with allergies, and shares their experiences and recipes on her blog.
